I remember the good old days when the doors were always open for the panels, and you could come and go as you pleased. No line-ups anywhere. Those were the days.

Hard to argue with that. I think this is my 31st SDCC. :o

my first was 1988...so 26th for me I believe

 

That is the first one I went to too! Drove down Saturday morning at a leisurely pace from Pasadena; taking the coast road south of Oceanside and pulled into the convention center parking lot at noon. Plenty of room!! So much for those days!

This tshirt line is ridiculous. I guess everyone had the same idea.

 

Thanks for reminding me ... I'm not there this year and I'm disappointed, but last year I took a look at the t-shirt line (that ran forever) and thought, I'm getting too old for this con (or the con is getting too hip for me).
