At this point, I consider CGC as an extra closet to store my books...

They will get graded eventually so better at CGC's closet than mine.

It won't stop the submissions... because when you can take a modern book you bought for $20-30 bucks and get it graded at 9.8 and turn it into 200-300 bucks... there's just too much money to be made for people to quit this...

I wonder how long it would take CGC to just clear all books they have had for over 8 months (not including pressing)? Instead of some books hitting the lottery and getting completed almost immediately how about using that same magic on these ancient submissions.

Everyone: OMG they're raising the prices again!! Everyone should stop submitting, we need a competing company to stop this, blah blah blah whine and complain about *checks list*: Turnaround times, quality control, consistency on grading, customer service, etc

also everyone: Submits 50 9.8 prescreen modern books to beat the price hike knowing they'll do another 50 after the price hike

I'm not complaining, I can live with the wait times and find the customer service pretty good. These are simply observations

*sigh* I'm at the 6 month mark for a four book economy submission and TaTs keep moving in the wrong direction. I think today is 127 business days and still SFG as of this past Saturday. My hope for a Christmas miracle now seems to be a pot of gold at the end of the St. Patrick's Day rainbow.

Economy received by CGC in June has been stuck in GEI for weeks. Meanwhile, a Modern received in September was in GEI for about 3 days and is now in QC. No FT on either sub.

I dunno what's going on, but I guess I'll take it..?
