Yup just a regular fast track. I'll give it to the end of the week and call then.

Figured it'd take a while since it's right around SDCC season but still only one book vs. 20 in my MST. (shrug)

I'd call now. That seems unusually long for a one book FT sub.

Someone told me you can typically tell what made the pre screen cut before grades post. Is that correct?

Yes. You'll be able to tell once they hit graded. If they are Moderns, "Modern" will be listed under Category. If it's not there, that book didn't make it.

I really think on site grading should stop until they catch up on what people have already paid for sitting at their facility, It shouldn't take over a month to verify my 11 identical books.

That makes no business sense. Also, people like onsite grading. That would be a very unpopular decision. It will never happen.

I will have my onsite books back long before my "fast track" from 8/5
I had to quote this, as my "on site" books did not get "on site" graded in Baltimore. So now I have about 50 books tied up with CGC. I am really bummed about this whole ordeal, I have almost 10K tied up now due to their lack of being able to turn books around quickly.. :sorry:

I fast-tracked about 18 Moderns at Baltimore on Saturday (9/6). I was told 2-3 week turnaround on them. She also said she was being conservative as she prefers to over-guess the time frame so that we are pleasantly surprised. I thought that sounded rather quick. But my fingers are crossed.

If the onsite books aren't completed in time, don't you just get a call from CGC the following week to arrange for shipping? As far as I know, any leftovers get brought back to Florida and get graded pretty much immediately

Well, that's how they usually handle this situation. Just out of curiosity - were you informed why your onsite books weren't actually done during the show?

yes, dealer dropped off 3 long boxes and had them shut down as they hit the max limit of books they could get done. This was on Saturday morning.
