Received on 7/17/19 , Doorbell rang, by the time I got to the door, the package was on the front door step and the Fedex driver was back in his truck. Delivery confirmation shows as signed for by me.

Actually, my local FedEx guys routinely do this. They get a signature when they can (which is nearly all the time), but otherwise they leave it. They know there's almost always someone home or, if there's not, someone will soon be home. I guess I'm fine rolling the dice that nothing will be stolen during the occasional brief periods a box is sitting on my porch. Beats having to drive out to the FedEx place to track down the package.

Now if it were a situation where they were routinely leaving packages without a sig early in the morning and nobody was going to be home until the evening, I would have a different view. In that case, I'd be complaining.

Does anyone know if a USPS delivery attempt to the address at CGC for shipping via USPS is allowed on Saturdays?

Or is it normal to be delivered the following Monday?

I sent a 10 book sub last Thursday to the address listed for USPS....

Anyway the "attempted delivery" on Saturday (yesterday), but says they'll "try again Monday"....

Normal?

Lol I'll ask you a silly question...

My modern sub is going to be delivered to cgc Monday, any chance I beat the SDCC rush? (: but really :wishluck:ha.

But anyway glad yours got checked in so quickly before the SDCC rush! (thumbsu

I think you are ahead of the SDCC rush.  Of course, all those SDCC Fast Track books are going to delay both our submissions.  It is what it is :foryou:

Hit QC just now. No rejects. 37/37 9.8 but expecting a couple over that.

Recap:

Received by CGC 7/15

SFG: 7/16

QC: 7/22

Just out of curiosity, how can you see they hit the prescreen if they haven't shipped yet? I know there used to be a loophole in how they posted info, but I thought it was closed a few years ago.

Since they changed their format, once it hits QC, they list rejected books.

Also, they charged my account and the math works out as well.

Ah. I didn’t know that, thanks. Guess I haven’t done a prescreen in a while. I have one in now and will look for that when the hit QC.

And if you're really obsessive and check regularly, you might catch the prescreen results even before the submission gets to QC.

Yup, the rejects definitely post before it gets to QC. By quite a while judging from my last couple pre screens.

That true but I noticed sometimes they start one day and continue another. I had a few rejected added after I saw the first one, on a previous order, before it hit QC.
