That's simpler

I have no actual data to back up what I am about to say other than what I have seen here and elsewhere and what I ‘suspect’, but… it also seems that CGC is pretty generous with grading if you submit to their in-house signings. In-house signings seem like a conflict of interest and a scam to me.

I've always wondered if at some point when books go SFG, are they in a long line waiting for next available OR assigned to an actual grader (and at mercy of their current workload)?

If assigned to a dedicated person, what happens to their queue if they are sick, quit, fired, on vacation? Is that why some random subs linger for weeks after their peers seemingly complete processing?

Lol I refreshed my qc item until cgc closed, at least now you can put it out of mind until Monday!

We might get updates over the weekend but I wouldnt bet on it. I have had it happen before though.

Still we'll get grade more than likely, and ours would have only come next week if shipped today, I assume. :goodvsevil:

Then again, it is hard to define a pattern. I had quite a few subs that were received and then shipped back to me under a month so they got moved up - and they are all the same grading tier.

I'm hearing stories from people that submitted after me without fast track getting their books back within like couple months and my books that I shipped in July and CGC opened in August are still in SFG as of today... IF this is true obviously I'm going to be upset over this... I thought it was first come first serve for same service level items?

FTR - my 6/18 books in the submission that went GEI on 9/30 and shipped on 11/17 we’re all graded on…you guessed it 9/30!

So I got a "CGC has made an adjustment to your submission" email at 1am this morning. Do they really have people burning the midnight oil trying to get caught up? I was expecting it since it was an ASM 300 going through the modern tier. They bumped it all the way up to Walkthrough. Does that mean they have it graded, since they picked out what tier to adjust it to?
