ygogolak
How about Legion of Monsters? A lot more potential there with established monsters. Though if Marvel gets to that point I think they are wiping the barrel pretty clean. You think? "monsters" haven't been the in-thing for a while I will agree, ever since zombies came around. But I think the characters themselves are definitely popular among a niche crowd, much like cosmic stuff.
whetteon
Books I'm noticing are getting only hotter in 2015: Dr. Strange #1 - no doubt as the movie gets closer and ST #110 gets more expensive, collectors have turned towards this issue as the next best thing. Daredevil #168 - an oldie but goodie, 1st Electra is hot again. Probably has something to do with a rumored Daredevil TV Series? (thumbs u

I think the rumor part is that's they are using Frank Miller's Daredevil
fastballspecial
Man that Strange book sat for years with not much interest. I know one sat at my LCS for years with no one touching it. Still not used to that. Edited January 5, 2015 by Fastballspecial

I would think ToD and Werewolf by Night would be the first to get exposure, but I think its pretty far down the road. Stranger things have happened. Would think that Doctor Strange 169 would be the book to go for instead of Doctor Strange 1. Zack1973
Picked up a Marvel Tales 106 (First Punisher Reprint) for less than $20.00 in NM, same cover but different background color. Have to say this reprint is a cheap alternative and I have a feeling has lots of room for growth.

PeterPark
I know there was talk about Marvel Tales 98 and 99 (ASM 121-122) heating up...then I felt as though they had cooled off...any thoughts?

Have to say this reprint is a cheap alternative and I have a feeling has lots of room for growth. This is insane IMO! Not sure what the accepted offer was on this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Marvel-Tales-106-CGC-9-8-1st-App-of-the-Punisher-Reprints-ASM-129-/111531669252?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item19f7ce3704 Guessing it must have been somewhere within $100.00 or less of the asking price. Why? Why? Spend that much on a reprint when you could get the real one for this: (not my auction) http://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Amazing-Spider-Man-129-CGC-6-0-1st-appearance-of-The-Punisher-Jackal-/251782413383?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item3a9f66bc47 Or this (not my auction) http://www.ebay.com/itm/THE-AMAZING-SPIDER-MAN-129-Feb-1974-Marvel-1ST-PUNISHER-NICE-MID-GRADE-/251787285903?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item3a9fb1158f Sure it's not a 9.8, but still the better way to spend the $$ and if Marvel Tales reprints of keys are blowing up like this, what's the future of the Marvel Milestone reprints??
