This guy doesn't mess around.

Chuck's site is sooooo 70s looking

I know, right? Those 70's websites. Man, I remember the first one I ever visited: the Sesame Street website. It was 4 bit, so Big Bird looked like Pac-Man! And Bert and Ernie were playing Pong the whole time!

:news: I just got word that Chuck's site has been designed soon after the Enigma code was cracked

My bet's on EW 4 (raw & slabbed) over Rai 0.

Rai 0 was a key (& hoarded as such) from day 1, whereas EW 4 wasn't hyped beforehand and likely had orders drop off from EW 1-2.

Isn't EW #4 a cameo and Rai #0 a full first appearance of Bloodshot? Is this one of those scenarios where the cameo is worth more due to a lower print run?

Similar to Wolverine, Bloodshot makes a full body shot appearance in the last panel in EW#4. As of right now, it is still up in the air to see which book the market will choose.

Didn't these 2 come out in the same month? So far EW 4 is winning.

According to Whedon, there will be surprise Marvel characters in Avengers 2.

Get ready, because whoever they may be, their books will explode once leaked.

Here's to hoping this guy appears in a post credits scene.

I sure hope so, I picked up first MODOK a few weeks ago. He's great, visually. Can't wait to see that giant head on screen.

I figure MODOK will be used eventually. Pretty much every Marvel property that was put into Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 has become pretty huge, 1st appearance wise. I knew something had to be up with who they were adding back when it was released but was too broke to do anything about it.

Laugh all you want. They upgraded fairly recently to add a working search (the old one was terrible). It's much better to navigate now. lol

Actually heres something y'all get a kick out of.. I used to use Milehigh all the time as reference for pricing lolololol

OK, not exactly.. But heres how it worked for me..

Say I'd get a lot of 300 Archie Bronze comics which I was absolutely clueless about.. I'd go to Milehigh and look them up. The ones that stick up higher in price than others would be the ones I would look up on eBay and price accordingly..

Because Chuck's website is soooo old, its actually much easier to navigate through, since there's no flash or spam or other things that slow down my PC..Try and do the same with comic book realm and It'll take all day..

Milehigh's website used to show ALL books and their pricing, regardless if they have it or not.. But as of 2 years ago that has changed and now they only show the books they carry in stock

That raises an interesting point. At what point do all the bells and whistles of websites cross the line?

I have all sorts of sites that I can't visit because they have 17 teeny tiny auto start video commercials, and I can't find them on the page to stop them, so I just won't go. I have sites that are jam packed with flash this and flash that, and it frequently gums up the works.

At what point will people finally say "enough with the ads already!!"...?

really? When I go on there, you can select an "all books" or "only books in stock" options to search.

I go there when I'm trying to find quick scans or covers of books.

Mycomicshop.com can be used for the same thing. And easier to look at too

FTFY

I really don't know why there is so much resistance to a cameo being a first appearance.

Try Advanced Search. It shows out-of-stock books, too.

Ha! actually he's right.. most of these sites just have tons of ads and radioactive spiders crawling into your computer the second you log into them.. Comic book realm never loads up properly on my computer. I think Milehigh is the way to go if you wanna check prices for bulk books, it really loads up quick and its a breeze to scroll through..
