I just saw Wolverine (1988) #27, CGC 9.8, is going for ridiculous prices on eBay. There's one on eBay now with the bid currently up to $155. Until very recently, this was generally a $50 or less book.

 

The cover is pretty awesome, but there is nothing key about it, as far as I know.

 

Anyone know what's up with this one?

Good question, other than being on the cover of an old video game, I don't recall it having any other significance.

I had one with two little spine ticks that was worth $1,000.00
