What caught my eye was this terrific black cover and the ad on the back using the phrase “Injun-uity” The cover and some of the interior stories are by Fred Meagher who I was not familiar with. Turns out he has a very nice style that I liked immediately. There is also one story by Bob Powell included. Overall I was pleasantly surprised with cover and content! Except for the registration on Mystery Tales #6. The Skull-Face story stuck with me after reading it in the '70s in the Tomb of Darkness reprint so I've wanted a copy for a while, but the interior color registration is so bad I'm not enjoying it so much. Westerns might be on life support but far from dead. This is a cool run with a few Frazetta covers and full of nice Fred Meagher art. Very recomended!
