In Superior romance comics, the reader sees women looking wistfully at the reader, in lingerie, breaking out of the panels on the page, lying on a bed...sometimes all at once.

A lot of great covers, but you're right that from a collecting pov, many suffer from the dread Harvey disease of filecopyitis.
