It's been pushed back AGAIN, this time to Aug/Sept. Good ol' Sideshow. Yeah, I'm used to their song and dance, but with this particular piece I'm starting to take it personally! Yeah. Rune Posted June 16, 2015 Share Posted June 16, 2015 Posted these photos in another thread, but of course they belong here Guess I'm not much of a statue collector, I do not own many great statues other than the Galactus Maquette, although I could not resist this Batman DKR #2 statue when I saw it - only 10 were made (and one AP) The Batman statue is quite big (14" base diameter, about same height), high quality resin, weight about 20 pounds. Escaflown4 Posted June 19, 2015 Share Posted June 19, 2015 Finally got my first XM statue. FEDEX just dropped off this 31lb beauty on my doorstep today shipped directly from Singapore. Here are my initial impressions. I can say that XM definitely does better in paint job and QC compared to Sideshow. The packaging is also a lot more sturdy so you wouldn't have to worry as much with rough handling. The only drawback that I can think of is the lack of cover art for the box which Sideshow excels at.
