I found this interesting as it's been debated what, if any, book/books will be used as source material for Gotham. I loved this series and with the writers being Brubaker and Rucka with art by Lark. It truly was great stuff. It may not mean anything but the fact that the release of this book coincides with the TV series makes me wonder. hm

I'd say it would hurt the chances of seeing it on TV. There are a lot of recycled and similar plots used in TV/Movies though, so maybe not. Unless the Last Man on Earth was crazy successful, I wouldn't see it stopping a big studio from doing a movie like Y if they thought they had the means to make it a hit. 2c

I managed to have a chat with Guerra...

 

She said that the studio that owned the rights kept having trouble with directors, who wanted to make a trilogy....

 

The studio felt that they didn't want the risk so was looking at a one shot....

 

But their rights are up soon...so yeah I'm buying up y....
