This one doesn’t show up that often, but ending tomorrow on heritage (10/29) is this beautiful copy of Power Comics #3. Amazing colors, super deep blacks. Good luck if bidding. My copy, hard to part with, acquired from @bounty_coder a couple of years ago.

Hardly my fave L.B. Cole covers per the topic heading, but interesting to see him in sweat mode.   Not my copies - I just happened to catch his signature on one that popped up in my eBay emails today.  Looks like he did all four covers for the series.  I wonder if he did any splash work inside or if Star had any other sweats.

These are cool, I have at least 1 of them - the polar bear one.  Either that one or another mag had an LB Cole pinup, of a moose I think.  It also had an article about Ted Williams.    If I can find it I'll post it, it's buried in this thread somewhere...

Well, I keep getting outbid on Steamy Moose Cases #119. So that pinup is the next best thing.

He also did a bunch of fishing magazine covers that I have never stumbled across.

He really was a perfectionist of detail when it came to drawing animals other than humans. I like this bear cover .
