Popular Post Darwination Posted May 13 Popular Post Share Posted May 13 (edited) I'm 99.9% sure the painter here isn't Kirkpatrick, but I'm no closer to a name than when I started digging. The same painter did show up recently over on non-comics mags for an Ace confessions mag called Secrets here. I see there's a low-grade copy (1.0) of the "True Secrets" book currently on eBay for $50, and I didn't find any copies of the "Thrilling Confessions Love Diary." MCS lists the Love Diary as a Buscema cover though, so that's pretty cool. They don't have any additional info on True Secrets. Not pre-code, though, (which seems to be a big thing amongst some of the Atlas romance chasers) or one I imagine there'd be crazy action on, but not run of the mill by any means. The Love Diary is the last issue which never hurts things with three separate Buscema stories. Don't think it's crazy in demand, though. All three of the romance books I got in the lot have zero copies on the census from what I can find, so that's either kind of cool or nobody cares enough to grade them...
