This is DC's chance to one up Marvel with something original. Have we seen a Marvel film that is centered on all villains? Ok... sinister six.. maybe .. but not yet. Hurry up DC.

 

Something like Secret Society of Super Villains screams of potential, IMO. And COULD be way better than anything Marvel has up their sleeve (related to all villains)... note the emphasis on COULD

Well to be fair, DC "might" be one upping sony, not marvel. Marvel has nothing "all villain" related on deck. Doesn't really seem like something they would do to me. It remains to be seen whether it's something the movie going public at large will buy into.

 

One thing for certain is that all of these early reports are making "Legends 3" look fairly irrelevant.

Jon Bernthal made an appearance at the Wizard World Tulsa Comic Con this weekend, and it didn't take long for one fan to ask The Wolf of Wall Street and Fury star whether or not we'll see him reteam with David Ayer for 2016's Suicide Squad. According to Renegade Cinema, Bernthal heaped plenty of praise upon the filmmaker, and when specifically asked whether or not he would be interested in taking on a role in the movie, he replied with only: "I can’t talk about that right now." The moderator made a joke about him dodging the question, and the site adds that he then "went into repair mode and said that he didn’t mean it like that and that he loved working with David Ayer and would like to work with him in the future. However, he never denied that he was up for a role and never mentioned it again."

I like Leto, but I wouldn't want to have to follow Ledger's footsteps. It's a tough act to follow.

 

We haven't seen an "Arkhamverse" type Joker in film yet. Nicholson's was a bit mobster/jokester, Ledger's was a bit dark, psychological punk. Leto has a great look and could be the perfect fit for the type of Joker we've yet to see brought to life through film.

Has Margot Robbie Officially Been Cast As 'Harley Quinn' in SUICIDE SQUAD?

 

While no word has been given from the studio, Collider has reportedly learned "from sources" that Margot has indeed been cast in the role, with an official announcement to come soon.

 

Batman Adventures #12 is going to EXPLODE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
