Wow. $22k for a 0.5 Tec 31 and only $36k for a Tec 33, 6.5.

 

Something definitely seems more than a little out of whack about that, and 33 certainly seems severely under-valued in relation at this point.

Pretty strong price on the DD Tells about Kites book. Kind of surprised that the consignor didn't have it graded it first. Would probably have gone for significantly more if it had actually come back as a 9.2.

 

It's the Southern California Edison version. I've also seen the PG&E version. Supposedly there is also a Florida Power version, but I've never seen one.

little mod/ext cap 1 in 4.5 looks like it might go for blue guide! hot book, and i'm oh so glad i already have mine.

 

$22,200, so a bit under VG guide. Looking at GPA, seems as if this around what restored copies in this grading range have been going for lately--hard though that may be to believe!

 

That's more than double what the last EP 5.0 went for two years ago.

All books I'm following finished strong. The one exception was the Batman 1 3.0 which I thought would finish between $45-$48K but ended up at $41K + change.

 

I wonder if the grading company had an impact on final price

The 6 and the 8 are the two i don't have yet. Want the 6 in a bit of a higher grade. Hand was itching on the 8, but somethings i want just a little more in C'Link tomorrow and CC on Friday. (i know, i know, the no.8 does not surface often )

I threw in a token last $10 bump on the low grade 3 just for fun. The 8 is a tough one, but you'll get one. The 5 went a bit cheap.

 

I've got my eye on some Clink stuff for tomorrow as well ... and of course I need to save a few bucks here and there so I can bid on the Pep 22 6.5 tomorrow. That 10 dollars on the Hangman 3 almost put me out of the running. Glad I didn't win it.

glad you didn't take it home too. Gotta watch those 'for fun bids'. I too thought the 5 went a little cheap. It's easily one of the all time best war covers from ANY publisher.
