2.0 - 3.0

 

Would depend on how pervasive the staining is inside, and it's effect on the texture of the book in hand. The book does look pretty solid otherwise, so probably no worse than 2.5.

Yep. Too nice structurally for me to go below 3.0, unless the interior was brittle. Then I could be persuaded to go 2.5.

 

No not brittle - stain is visual, doesn't affect texture of book. Nice, tight book

I was thinking 3.5 myself in hand

Wow, what a beauty one with ugly foxing areas. The structure is too nice but the foxing is a real bummer.

 

I had 9.6 structure on my book but it ended up with CGC 8.0 (the invisible foxing on the front cover). That was down by 5 grades.

 

Foxing on both sides, it may drop more than 5 steps down. That book looks 6.5/7.0 then goes down to about 2.5/3/0. Maybe lower.

 

Tough one.
