Real clean artwork on those books. These early issues don't turn up to often; they were pretty much turned to pulp by the kids who read them. Always a staple at the barber shop and always well read. I'd think Heritage or CC would be much better venues for big ticket Duck books.

Need cash faster to hold store front down payment, and to buy salon equipment. But true it would bring in more money. Sometimes you have to take chances, seems to have worked out well for me so far. Both will provide advances, if quick cash was the immediate need. I just hope you don't end up leaving money on the table. The 9.4 FC 386 could be a $20k book on Heritage, so I'll be curious to see what it does on eBay. For what it's worth, I've just put in my first bids on eBay in more than a decade, so I'm glad you mentioned the books here. Good luck! I miss my fix. IDW tried to create new Scrooge material, but sales were low. I found the material to be lackluster and mediocre, lacking the humor and charm of stories and art by Carl Barks or Don Rosa. I do enjoy the Disney Masters series from Fantagraphics, translating older material from European artists. Point Five

Here is the last page with Big Bad Wolf getting chased. By the time I was thirteen, I had been in dozens of fist fights. I have only been stabbed twice and hit in the head with a baseball bat once. Popular Post AJD
I just picked up this nice J ("Jumbo") series book. Another 6 Barks 10 pagers with Taliafero dailies to fill out the 64 pages. I couldn't afford the J books as a kid, and I recall being kicked out of the local newsagents after sitting and reading most of one of them! Incidentally, I've been slowly loading my Australian Disney books into a gallery set here. Feel free to have a browse, though there are hundreds yet to be uploaded. The full set runs to about 2,200 books, though I am limiting myself to a few subsets - I can't imaging wanting to track down 320 Mickey Mouse books, for example.
