Popular Post gadzukes Posted April 29, 2022 Popular Post Share Posted April 29, 2022 I thought this was a pretty good find for $20. 1945 Pato Donald with the cover to Large Feature Book 16 (well.... a clever adaptation of the cover) I believe Large Feature 16 is considered Donald's 2nd comic so this is a cool one to find. Congrats. One of the earliest editions that I saw until today. Disney Especial was one the most important Disney new titles released in the 70's (possible the most successful decade for Disney comics), perhaps the most important. The fan favorite n°6. AJD Posted May 19, 2022 Share Posted May 19, 2022 Great pickup Bob! Meanwhile, down under, I'm pecking away at reproducing the Dell/Gold Key Barks Uncle Scrooge run in Australian editions. These in this week. Reprinting Dell #35 (The Golden Nugget Boat) and #69 (The Cattle King) respectively. As Robot Man observed earlier, these are harder to find than the US editions, though generally easier than most Australian books because of their popularity. That said, finding nice copies isn't always easy because of the thin paper capers. I'm happy with both of these.
