50YrsCollctngCmcs
Outstanding! I don't think I have seen that line up before; and certainly not in that condition.
tb
40 Yrs: That's exactly what I was thinking when I looked at this "triptych" spread out on the table in Heritage's preview room last June.

50YrsCollctngCmcs
Just beautiful, tb, as is the #13. I have an unslabbed 13 that I got in San Diego years ago; It is my earliest issue and in pretty nice shape. I'll have to post when I get a minute to compare to TB's copy. AJD
Happy Free Comic Book Day duck fans. Here's something to look out for from Fantagraphics: Both books have the same contents, but I like the variant '90 degree rotation' covers. There are two Don Rosa stories, the cover story from WDC&S 610 (which is excellent) and - even better - the 'Triple Distlefink' story from Uncle Scrooge 310. That issue is hard to find and expensive, so it's nice to get the Rosa story reprinted.

vaillant
That is very nice – I am not a big fan of Don Rosa, but I like the stories where he goes more freely and that are more based on an idea (i.e. I did not like at all the "history" of Scrooge but I love "On stolen time"). How is it possible to get these two books?

Sqeggs
Savannah copy. The supposedly suppressed or censored story. Just looking at the info on GCD, it appears to have been reprinted several times, in censored form only once. Any one have further info?

Thanks. GCD has the story reprinted in US 134. I know I have a copy of that issue somewhere, but can't lay my hands on it. Was the story censored in that reprint? GDC only flags the Gladstone Uncle Scrooge Adventures 42 (Jan 1997) reprint as being the censored version.
pooroldman
US 134 isn't censored. Both the "workers paradise" and "strangulation wire" bits are still there. INDUCKS shows that The Treasure of Marco Polo has been reprinted 4 times in the USA-- only the original and US134 aren't censored. And the Savannah copy is gorgeous, Squeggs.
