The general public is going be all like, "Who the eff is Cyborg?"

He really doesn't belong in the League.

You may be missing the point. There is a portion of the market that is desiring more minority superheroes. And many of them very much know who Cyborg is that have children. Loads!

So they are taking the character from a fun, funny show to something more serious. Yet they are still going to be excited it is their Cyborg - live!

And let's not forget, Cyborg was also in Justice League: Doom, Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, Justice League vs. Teen Titans and Justice League: Gods & Monsters. So it's not like the general market has not seen Cyborg as part of the Justice League.

He was also in the LEGO Justice League vs Bizarro League and also LEGO DC Comics: Batman Be-Leaguered.

And he was in the JL New 52.  And if you're an older fan of Justice League from the old days for whom the inclusion of Cyborg will keep you from seeing the movie, then you don't really like the Justice League.  There's plenty of reasons to disparage the movie or not see it, but I don't think Cyborg should be one of them.

Yes, plenty of reasons. If you waste time digging for these.

'Justice League' Premiere Date Revealed

Quote

Warner Bros. and DC Films will be holding the premiere for Justice League on November 13th, just four days before the movie opens in theaters, on Friday, November 17th.

The premiere date was confirmed in a contest announcement by iHeart Radio's JAM'N 94.5 in Boston, which will be flying some lucky winners out to Los Angeles for two days, in order to attend the Justice League premiere.

At least this disproves the IMDb details that stated the movie was 3 hours long.

New reported Justice League runtime makes it the shortest DCEU movie

Quote

It’s not too uncommon to watch a modern superhero movie and feel like you’re watching a cut of LAWRENCE OF ARABIA.  Most of them pass, or get close to, the two-and-a-half-hour mark, with last year’s BATMAN V. SUPERMAN putting out a director’s cut that pushed it to three hours. People have suspected the upcoming JUSTICE LEAGUE will have a similar girth, but if new reports are to be believed, JL has just smashed the rulebook into itty-bitty pieces.

As of right now, the current runtime being reported for the movie is 121 minutes long, which would make it the shortest DCEU movie yet. So far, the two leading theater chains in America – AMC and Regal – have the movie listed at the time.

so they cut an hour and a half of Snyder's garbage, tossed in 30 minutes of Whedon's re-shoots. this is promising news.

I would note 'let the vitriol begin', but there never was an end to your original begin.
