On one hand, spec on Rebirth is tough because Midtown is limiting to 1 per customer purchases a week before they hit the shelves.

Only online. In-store they weren't limiting.

 

They have a store limit of 5, at least officially. Some locations are more rigid than others.

Anyone think any of the coming Rebirth titles will get hot or has that ship sailed? I was going to preorder Deathstroke as Priest is writing it and I think he is an awesome writer but in the end I decided against it. Supergirl with Lupacchino and AH! covers? Any of these or others?

 

I don't think so myself.

Rebirth still sells great and besides Deathstroke and Supergirl there's Superwoman and Harley coming up soon.

 

I couldn't sell a Justice League much at all and the first wave was selling within hours. Glad you are having better luck but I am mostly done with Rebirth for spec. Mostly.

The artwork was lacking in Justice League Rebirth #1 and there was no plot to speak of. DC's version of Independence Day. Flash is still the most interesting title after Batman IMO. Flash #1 featured the first appearance of another speed force recipient- August Heart of CCPD.

no heat on Nightwing either. I thought that would do well. I guess we'll know for sure with HQ and a few others.

 

I'll wait for All Star Batman though. Like I said earlier, no more rebirth one-shot spec for me (mostly). Heck I still have about 8-10 Titans sitting around. That one was moving very well, maybe it will reheat when things settle down.

Still enjoying the stories...Superman is the best it's been in decades. Some day Super Sons may even show up in print. Heck they haven't even gotten into the meat and potatoes of Rebirth (watchmen)
