PreHero, that is a beautiful copy of MF 49. Notwithstanding what the GCD says, however, I am fairly certain that this particular cover is not by Flessel. It looks more like Fred Guardineer to me.

 

RHG, you are absolutely correct.

 

Actually, CGC is my source, since it attributes the cover to Flessel on the label. To be honest, I was suspicious too, it just didn't look like his work and I believe almost all his covers are signed. Both Gerber and OPG correctly list it as Guardineer.

 

Okay, now I've got to correct the situation and post a real Flessel cover!

The More Fun MHs are so nice. Always dreamed one day of owning one or two - hasn't happen yet. I remember when Mark Wilson was selling the pre hero set of More Funs MHs (#14-51 with a couple missing) - dreamed of calling him and saying !
