World's Finest 72

 

Second issue after Supes and Batman consolidated and went to 32 pages. No back cover, and two extra staples banged through in a vain attempt to keep the front cover attached. Front cover is NOT attached, lol

 

Interior isn't bad, complete with cream to offwhite pages.

 

Asking $25 for a rough reader

Cover is a bit creepier than you usually get on a DC cover.

 

General wear, and I believe the RH edge of the FC has been trimmed. Comparing it to the rest of the edges it's razor sharp. Trimmed, pretty sure. Wrinkling and light staining lower LH corner FC, two pieces tape on spine. Tight spine and CF, white pages.

Large taped tear FC, upper corner off ENTIRE book. small piece out lower LH FC. Pulled lower staple, extra staple upper spine.

 

Missing corner doesn't touch the art, or even the page numbers. Tight interior, offwhite pages.

Transverse spine roll, speckles of discoloration across upper FC, more of the same across upper BC, along with a few somewhat larger stains.

 

Cream to offwhite interior.

Flat, clean, square, tight spine and CF, good gloss, and offwhite pages.

 

Chip out upper spine, smaller chip out lower spine, minor bit of general wear.

Well, now, this is a thick book. Sixty four pages to begin with, and it has water stain FC and BC, so it's been around water. Interior is clean enough, but it's....fluffy. Wrinkles and wobbles on every single page fluff it up to at least half again as thick as it should be, maybe more.

 

Plenty of general wear, NCB sub-type crease FC, small tears here and there, small piece out LH BC, and the pages are offwhite.

 

I'd be delighted to see what Joeypost could do with this book.

 

Take home the fluffy reader for $30

Good gloss, tight spine and CF, offwhite pages.

 

A press would make this copy into quite a nice book.

Lower staple is rusty with a touch of migration, upper staple has some surface rust. Flat and square enough, but tear and dogears upper RH FC, couple small tears LH BC, along with a few small spots of discoloration, possibly foxing, possibly light stains. Interior is tight with offwhite - white pages.

Not quite the classic Bob Lubbers GGA cover, but still no slouch. If only her dress was a bright green!

 

Flat, square, clean, good gloss, tight spine and CF, white pages.

 

Bit of general wear, and the staples are offset into the FC by close to a quarter inch.
