Looks like the Peps were priced in prior to live bidding. Zero action.

 

Sqeggs earlier in the thread predicted as much, and he's on the money so far...

 

At $25-30K a pop I wouldn't have expected them to sell for more.

When I saw what they hit I just couldn't see someone bidding them up significantly after that. I don't need to say it to be right. :grin:

Sandoval is definitely the guy you want doing the auction if you are a consignor. He's milked some of these for all they were worth and more.

 

For sure. He's working it.

 

Perhaps having an auctioneer with a knowledge and love for the object is an actual benefit to the consignor? Who knew?

Almost bought the Police 1. I think that is under valued. Just didn't make the last bid.

Agreed, I'm a big fan of the book. I think being CBCS graded may have hurt the hammer price considering what a CGC 2.5 sold for earlier this year.
