I admit it - I was wrong. I was fooled. doh!

Take this as an opportunity to learn....

....to just listen to me without thinking about it too long.

Oh brother.

:baiting:

That one was just for S'Wick,

and anyone who wants to avoid being wrong...

The precedence has been set. What other things were you fooled on? hm

Does his love for Daredevil count?

Anyone who likes Daredevil needs an evaluation.

I can see that, yes.

Moved here from the probation discussions thread

Yeah, as someone who will never sell here in a million years, but might buy occasionally, it's hard to really take this place seriously with all the shenanigans regarding policy.

HoS and PL? More like, oh no I am not popular anymore. There is no repercussions to being added to either list.

Banning is the only solution in my mind. And that cannot be determined by anyone but Mods and Admins.

Kinda hard to police yourself when you need intervention from higher authority....

hm

Sounds a bit like how the entire world is run eh?

What's your solution then? Site admin will not ban bad sellers. What do you suggest we do? (shrug)

That's the real issue jeffro. Arch isn't banning the bad kids and that's fine. His sandbox so his rules. I can live with that. I think the idea really has to be the idea of be the change you wish to see. I know myself it has been really hard but sellers I do not wish to support have had some really nice books that I wanted at a good price but had to stick to my guns and not support them by buying. If each person trys to do this eventually the pool of buyers will dry up. Of course there will always be some buyer who will support them but we can't let that bother us. Let it go and let them burn out because eventually they will.

OK yea I know I sound like a head in the cloud hippie. God I hate myself.

I hear ya. There are some people here who have never had one single sell and/or buy issue and I still won't deal with them because they have shown through their board presence and actions that they are people who are either seriously disturbed or jerks, or both.

I'm not sure that they will eventually burn out. Solarcadoosh keeps, in effect, flipping off the entire board, by flaunting the fact that he can still buy/sell with folks here. That's frustrating as hell.

He says he does. But how extensive are his transactions?

Remember that $1,000 Dave Stevens transaction we did? That was a record-setter.

See how that works? Just because he says this to get under a forumite's skin doesn't make it so. But there will be some that will continue to trade, buy or sell with him no matter what.

Perhaps not appropriate to krap a WTB thread, but HERE he quotes GPA that from what I can see bears no relationship with reality:

Giant Size X-Men 1 CGC 6.5 "OFF WHITE" KEY BRONZE BOOK! GPA $530, MY PRICE $499

Giant Size X-Men 1 CGC 8.5 "OFF WHITE" KEY BRONZE BOOK! GPA $1050, MY PRICE $899

EDIT: I tell a lie, he's using the 2014 high sale as his marker for "GPA".

12 month average on a 6.5 is $434, and on an 8.5 is $759.

Is Avengers 1 the holy grail of comics?

Apparently it is.

Or at least it is when using wildly over the top ebay type description styles when selling your comics. :eyeroll:

If Coyote Ugly has taught me anything, and I believe it has, it's that ASM 129 is the holy grail of comics.

I thought it was Daredevil #1? (shrug)

Only if you are stuck on an island and need a book to start a fire.
