So sale made Saturday, buyer stated payment to be made Sunday, I town so no rush, but now Thursday and no payment. I messaged earlier today, and it's still unread, which is fine. I would reasonably expect a reply within twenty four hours. So when can I void sale and/or offer book elsewhere?

And nice sig line, Tim. :)

transactions have a 30 day timer to be completed unless otherwise stated in the sales thread.

Check the buyers post history. How often is he/she on? Are they someone who falls off the radar for a few days, or are they a daily poster?

I'd say 30 days from the sale, if it's your Hero for Hire thread - you had some terms but they weren't binding on the buyer it was more of an "if you want this right away..." offer. Not sure if that "offer" was edited in after the sale took place or not.

Clearly he's not in that much of a rush to get his book. (shrug)

NOTE: I leave town Monday and return Thursday. If you pay by sometime Sunday, I can ship your comics and have them to the post office and on their way. Otherwise, it will be Friday before they ship.

edit: I'd be a bit concerned if he said he'd pay Sunday though...

lol my rant got no response.

Either I'm on a lot of ignore lists or I'm 100% right,

It was dead on. I felt as though maybe your account had been jacked.

This is a question I have wondered about for a while, but just saw for the first time in a sales thread. If someone says :takeit: pending scans on an item, can someone post a straight :takeit: and it belongs to them? If so, is it considered bad etiquette or fair game?

I'd say fair game. That :takeit: pending scans is weak sauce in my book.

That's kind of why I did it. (Plus I wanted the books of course.) If you're gonna do the 'pending scans' thing where the op has no guidelines on it, mannup and just take it.

Yeah, I guess if the seller has a rule about it, that's a different story. Otherwise, "take it pending scans" just means "I'm not sure I want it, but I don't want anyone else to get it until I've decided."

that being said, if the OP decided to post a IM1 modern book instead of the silver age book, would the buyer be forced to buy it?
