I really like ASM 13 (Mysterio is one of the coolest-looking, and in the movies they stayed true to it!) and ASM14...great Spidey/Goblin.

If I could own the first appearance of any of Spider-Man villains it would be Mysterio he’s definitely my favourite spidey villain.I always count kingpin as a daredevil villain and amazing Spider-Man 14 is such a great book brilliant cover and a brilliant story

I'll see you over the weekend, for the long ago promised top 20 photo (19 has at last become 20. Well, Pat pending...)

20 hasn't arrived yet, so the update will have to wait a bit longer. Thought I'd gate crash the competition while I was waiting...

Don't be disheartened Tghutcn. The forum is US run, so it stands to reason that interest in UKPV related discussions will be limited. Even the established UK boardie's here have next to no interest in them.

Revel in being the outsider mate...

Just a tad

Amazing when you think of it. Until I came along, not one person on Earth had ever established how many publishers produced UKPVs, let alone fully document their issue ranges. Tis a niche market for sure....

....talking of the seven, I've been working this up recently with input from @Malacoda who knows more about the actual distributors than anyone I know:

More on that soon...

And I did all that whilst partying, drinking and successfully chasing hot chicks!

OK, I lied about the partying.

And the hot chicks.

And the drinking was mostly tea.

Bugger....

A blue X-Men #4 6.0 White UK price variant sold for $5485 on 5/28/21, higher than the 6.0 cents on 6/30 ($4161) but the same as cents went for in May.    Does anyone recall/know  whether the buyer posted here?  Would be cool to see it.

I wonder if I'm the only person on Earth who can post this:

Wow.  Considering the undeniable, abeit mysterious connection UK price variants have with so many Marvel Silver Age and Broze Age books (over 3,200 issues, is it?), including the holy grails of the early SA, the early details of their emergence on the scene is not only cool, but historically important.  Feels like the first twenty "appearances" of a special Marvel character!  Thank you for putting this together over the years and sharing.  (thumbsu  Folks would be hard-pressed to find any one of the pictured books at any given time, let alone in a desired grade, key or not.  A truly extraordinary accomplishment.   Congrats!  :golfclap:

hm

The next step is to triple board / double Mylite2 them all, with customised Top 20 stickers.

And then try to take a decent photo! I'm always rubbish at them.

Thanks again to @Garystar for graciously swapping Patsy for a charitable donation a few years back.

Only took me five years to get there....

May I add my congratulations Steve. It is a wonderful, and probably unique, set. Even though back in the day I never bought Western or Cartoon Romance comics this is one collection that I would be proud to own.

Steve, you deserve so much credit for this work. A fantastic effort that I doubt anyone else could have done.

As you know, years ago, Kevin and I tried to document all pence copies but just couldn't do it. I compiled a list of pence copies and was pleased with that but your work has gone way beyond that.

And I love that those 20. Fantastic.
