Found this sandman 50 platinum double cover error

Went to a small show in Madison today. It was a lot of fun and absolutely packed, and the sellers were wheelin' and dealin' - a lot of 25-50% off deals, a lot of bargain bins. I spent $120 flat, here's the haul:

Whoa! That dolphin! I remember I passed on a NM looking copy early on in the $1 bin, although can't get stuck in the past!

Yeah, this one has that unfortunate missing piece of the cover and some other issues, but it was $9, so I had to grab it - first time I've ever found one in the wild!

Idk what it was, I even jokingly used it as an example to the worker that there were a lot of expensive books that he was letting go cheap. Talk about foot in my mouth, it was a used bookstore. I still find some stuff there but not near as often 😣

But enough about ongoing reprusccussion 😂 I admire your pluck!

@Jesse-Lee I want to say it hasn't always been a key per SE, but in 2015-16 idk better hahaha

I'm not home so can't see them yet, but am pretty excited based on the photos of how good they will be.

DC war covers almost never showed American soldiers getting killed but they often showed them just seconds away from it.......
