I really don’t like this series, but since it’s only 10 issues I buy them when I find then for a buck or two. They read like the author is copying ads from a Soldier of Fortune magazine. I bet I would have loved this series in the 90s but it’s just really dated now. It does have iconic covers in nearly every issue though. We got to Kentucky around 4 pm on Saturday, and stayed until Monday night, but we had a memorial service to attend and other family obligations, so I knew from 5-6 pm Saturday was my only time window. So I figured out there was a shop near the hotel that was open until 7, got the consensus from my wife that I'd have the time to leave without missing anything, and made my run to the shop.
