You put so much effort into that.

"Oh goody. Something I can insert as negative. I'm going to really make this stand out now!"

1. He didn't, actually. All those graphics were actually in Luiz Fernando's tweet itself. Partial screenshot below.

2. I don't understand - you post Luiz Fernando's positive tweet yesterday about Venom 2's seemingly good Monday-Monday hold (that disregards that yesterday was a holiday) and then don't like it when someone else posts a more accurate Tuesday-Tuesday comparison Luiz Fernando tweet the very next day?

As Paperheart noted, this will limp its way to $200M domestic, but not come close to the total of its predecessor. Which is fine, respectable even (pandemic and all).

Where did Luiz post the big GIF noting 'JUST THE FACTS MA'AM' or the huge font and images? Or did you not use to watch "One Of These Things Is Not Like The Other' on Sesame Street?

One is meant to report movie updates

Facts2.thumb.png.c06c99c04751c4bd35042d19226c902d.png

The other is meant to troll

Facts1.thumb.JPG.5d0c76642d546c479b907f88ce282000.JPG

Kind of like in the Black Widow thread where you tried to back his play on streaming-to-theater results but you misrepresented the numbers. Not realizing someone would do the actual math.

Or as some would post...

@Luiz_Fernando_J
On its 2nd WED, #VenomLetThereBeCarnage
VenomMovie_July_2021.png   grossed 1.9M at domestic #BoxOffice, under Venom’s 2.2M in 2018.
Legs have been weak so far, dropping 53.6% from last WED.
#Venom2
VenomMovie_July_2021_Carnage.png ’s cume domestically is 149.8M. Will have crossed 150M this THU as you read this.
Eyeing a 190M-200M US run.

check out these graphics and tenuous grasp on the English language - the temerity of this guy to suggest weak legs, a 2.3x opening weekend multiple is the new normal (see BW)

What do you mean "new normal?"

BvS grossed 2.0x its opening weekend.

Justice League a whole 2.44x.

Oh...wait...

That is so interesting how you both focus on the films you repeatedly trash that were weak at the box office (other than BVS, which wasn't).

DC_BO04.JPG.8aab81504d4fb1dd4add1e0e7a6d3498.JPG

Yet you ignore the other films you also trash-talked that then became massive hits. Remember when that fake 'former WB executive' letter came out and you both noted what a trash heap Wonder Woman was going to be?

DC_BO01.JPG.fb31f78ce70a65476352c9504605f9ec.JPG

And then with the whole John Campea pro-Disney period where he noted how a lady in a little blue hat was going to destroy Aquaman. You both went along with those jokes.

DC_BO02.JPG.1e4de8b28a7a7d3b4ffd82244c65ebaa.JPG

Oh, and lets never forget the informed opinions what a trainwreck Joker was going to be with no real market overseas. That was the best!!

Yeah. Smacks of desperation.

Including when the Venice Film Festival celebrated Joker positively there was a callout there must have been something in the water there.

fairly typical, the RT is a yes/no toggle, the Metacritic is an actual average of critical scores. and there goes the RT below 70.  must've been something in the water in Venice.

Ahhh, the positive vibes you have both brought to this area of the boards. And let's not forget the first Venom. Good thing that failed at the box office like you predicted.

Not at all. Thanks to you two using box office misinformation, it led to my tracking all these details. Buy yourself that Disney calculator yet?

Refresh for latest…: Sony’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage chomped on a big chunk of the international box office this weekend as it swallowed a $62.3M mouthful from 44 overseas markets.

Quote

With 41% of its offshore footprint released, the film captured the No. 1 spot in 39 markets and is outpacing No Time To Die by 34%, Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings by 102%, Black Widow by 76%, and F9 by 17% at the same point in release in like-for-like markets.

Quote

Venom 2’s debut is astounding, and set pandemic-era opening records in Spain ($3.9M) and Italy ($3.7M). Notably, Korea, which has been in the doldrums of late, let Carnage reign as the second best bow for a Hollywood title in the pandemic era with $9.5M.

While Marvel post-credit scene talk is dominating social media, Kevin Feige himself has opened up on one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's most memorable teasers as of late.

According to the Marvel Studios boss, the scene in question — which involves Venom (Tom Hardy) licking a television screen on which Tom Holland's Peter Parker is visible — was a collaborative effort between the crews on Venom 2 and Spider-Man: No Way Home.

"There was a lot of coordination — and if you don't know all the coordination yet, I'm not going to be the one to tell you — but yes, between Sony and Marvel and the Venom team and the No Way Home team... We worked together on it," Feige confirmed with THR on the red carpet during Monday's Eternals premiere.

My expectations have been raised and I will for sure be paying to check this one out, as one of the film critics I trust over most for recommendations found it enjoyable and better than the first (and they are not comic book nerds - which I tend to avoid when it comes to review sources)
