How much did the 5.5 copy sell for last year, and according to the HA archives, it looks like this exact same copy sold for $24K back in 2019:

Yes, this will go into my personal collection, so it won't be peeping out any time soon.  You are right a bunch seem to have been flushed out all at once.  I guess I'm thinking they will soon slow to a trickle.  But if not, let's never forget my motto is buy high sell low

As @comicjack had already mentioned in his post up above, probably nothing more than a case of too many copies coming into the marketplace in too short a period of time.  Probably need to wait until prices consolidate before they take the next leg up, which also happened to AF 15 a couple of years ago and now take a look at it taking off like a rocketship during the past years\.  

Another book that has seen a lot of copies coming to market over the past few years at rather astronomically high prices is Chamber of Chills 19 with the classic PCH cover.  Not sure if this one has plateau yet or not, but would expect it to, especially considering the high number of copies out there as I believe it was part of a warehouse find back in the day.
