Crazy. For me, it's one of the coolest, most iconic PCH covers and certainly my favorite Harvey cover. I'm not even a Misfits fan. (shrug)

I have the same opinion on this one. When I think PCH, this would almost be a guaranteed top 3 cover for me. I’m a Misfits fan too though…

then there was this a few years back for $174K

The only think I don't like about this cover are the too-fat finger bones.  Would have been cooler with a regular hand imo.

If I remember correctly this cover was originally drawn in reverse (left/right) and then changed at the last second.

It was bugging me where I saw this. Here’s what I was thinking about.

Agree, the creativity (whether Elias got the idea from some other source or just dreamt it up himself ) just blows away your standard PCH gore/shock covers.

The perspective is perfect, the whole thing just sparkles like the glass the hand holds, you can really just imagine how that would have stood out and captured attention on the newsstand.

It’s arguably one of the best PCH covers if not the best imo.  Not rare by GA standards but rare compared to SA and newer books.  10k no longer shocks me.  Maybe the prices hold.

I don't even think it's a good cover let alone a great one. It looks like a five-year-old could have drawn it. I don't get it.

That is rather insane. Just another example of the Misfit's hype. Brilliant of the seller. Although, a great cover on it's own, without the Mistfit's in the title, would probably sell for a few hundred bucks.
