I had this one listed on the Sales Forum a few months ago and I had a cash/trade deal going but the other party backed out so I decided to just keep it.

Just a stunning book. :applause:

it is a great book, and used to be a "must" have for DC collectors... but, I have noticed that interest has waned a bit, on it, over the last couple of years... not sure why

very nice ! a tough book to get.

 

Nice book. I am not a fan of corny covers usually but this is a cool cover. And being the first Luthor cover makes it more special. One question, how many covers of Superman (in whole) did Shuster do ? Cant remember off the top of my head.

I'm unaware of when this was a "must have." My experience has been that this is a book that generally falls below the radar, though I think it is an important event in the DC universe and deserving of perhaps of more attention than it gets.

Actually, over the last fifteen years or so it has showed up on fewer and fewer want-lists.

But through the mid-nineties it was very popular and sought after.

another classic fish ! I've always loved that one, I also love the origin story inside, first read it in the Supes 30s to the 70s book.

 

looks like a solid copy
