Given the quick response on the Tom & Jerry’s , I’m wondering if anyone has a very low grade Black Hole #4 they want to find a good home for.  It’s the last of the rare ones that actually goes to a title I collect, rather than me grabbing the issue when I see them.  I do collect the earlier Uncle Scrooge issues, but once Barks leaves I’m not trying for all of them.

Buck Rogers, Looney Tunes, and Super Goof I’m good on.  Even if the Super Goof #61 cost 9000 times more than the #1. (Not kidding on the difference!)

Bought a box of beaters this week, and was surprised to have uncovered this one. I’ve only come across 3 copies of Pink Panther 78 with the 40 cent price tag. While this one is pretty beat, it’s still complete.

40c price tag for that issue is insanely rare. Good job.

I bought a comic lot this week that had a number of Disney and other Whitman books - is there a list somewhere that details the more sought-after issues?

Edit to add:

I paid $50 for the 200 book lot, basically sight-unseen (a FB Marketplace buy). I already pulled 7-8 nice books out of it, and the rest will be stuff for my $1 bins at shows. But I have a bit of a blind spot when it comes to Whitmans, especially of the non-Batman variety. Here's what was in the lot, they're all fairly beat up, but all are intact:

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look to me like there are any hidden gems here… some of these are a little harder to find, but I would say the issues here are only really worth anything in very high grade (say, 9.0 and up). Even then, I’m not sure there’s anything here that would go for more than $5 or $10.

The key things to watch for are the 40 cent issues dated August through December of 1980, 40 cent variants from January of 1981 and 75 cent Canadian price variants.
