There are some great books in there if you keep in mind they grade very liberally. First Conan, First Conan cover, a full run of Operator #5, tons of great The Spider issues, Brundage Batwoman, a couple Spicy books, 10 more pages of Weird Tales, etc... quite a smorgasbord of pulpery. I'm just happy I've got a nicely presenting copy with good page quality, even if the spine is totally gone. The book is so nice other than the spine that I wonder if it was in some sort of amateur bound volume at some point, where they just glued the book in at the spine. There is a copy cracking off at the HA weekly auction at 4pm today as well. Should be a nice affordable copy. I think the issue actually has a lot of room to move. Got mine within about a week, cross border, with wrecked highways. Well packed, really good experience overall so far. Whoever bagged it folded the bottom left corner and left it that way in the bag, and the cover was glued on poorly. I can't find the original listing but I'm positive cover glued on wasn't noted. They too frequently miss things like restoration and brittle pages, even when obvious. I won some auctions today, kind of scared to check out and see what they'll cook up for shipping Strong prices on a lot of books over the last 2 days, a number I can probably find on ebay for a lot less. Didn't get the 3 books I was going for, but got a few spiders, operator 5s, and weird tales. In 2 months when I get them I'll be sure to post a few Edit checked out, and it's asking 115 for shipping fedex ground, I'm guessing that's something they'll lower if I call?
