Talked with him every year at HeroesCon a bit during setup before the Pandemic. He was a hoot. Always made me laugh…“Crusty” indeed 🥰

So sad! I met Neal Adams several times. One time in particular he was at a bar after a day at a con back in 2014. He was telling us all (a court of 10-15) many stories of his early days back at DC. He was quite the story teller!

Along with Berni Wrightson, the man who got me into comics. His influence and importance within the industry were obviously huge. One of the handful of giants who were pivotal in advancing the medium. RIP.
