Who will be Black Flags next “prey” or dumdum indeed.

Marvel is still doing covers with Black Flag?

Ok Marvel are just as guilty as everyone else. You can't say Marvel isn't ok with this and has less culpability than CGC if they're still doing business with these guys.

Isn't it safe to assume that this cover was approved by Marvel far before they chimed in on Acetategate?

Book came out on August 10.

Is 10 days not enough time to distance yourself from a retailer?

It's blatantly obvious that neither CGC, Black Flag or WhatNot give a toss about scamming and counterfeiting.

CGC has all of a sudden relegated itself to literal illigitimacy and hopefully they won't destroy the graded comic market with their scamadelic greed and lack of integrity.

Of course you won't see this because the "moderators" can't let their corrupted wizardry get flamed in here...

They probably got a wrist slap as to never do it again or as was suggested, the work and books were already committed to and in production.

For Marvel to issue new guidelines regarding variants moving forward indicates that they have taken noticed and expressed displeasure as to what was done.  As someone else also noted though they would not specifically call out Black Flag publicly and if there was to be any form of scolding would have done it behind the scenes.

True. And I don’t think corporate America deals in absolutes - there’s money at stake. A public rebuke might stymie future collaborations with BF or even other people who would want to participate in Marvel’s variant cover program. Other dealers might think what BF did is fine, and if they saw Marvel publicly spank their peepee over it, they might feel they could be next. What’s done is done, and everyone above decks wants us to forget about it.

Did the Ghost Rider or Deadpool Nerdy get released or were they just given to dealers at the Boston show?

Some photos have surfaced of the books, apparently at the booths of other dealers at the Boston show. So far, I've seen no reports of any of the books showing up in online marketplaces.
