What's your lowest-CGC-graded comic in your personal collection? 3 3

Give me your tired, your poor (or fair, or good), your spine-ticked issues yearning to breathe free... what's the lowest-graded CGC book in your personal collection? Bonus points if there's an interesting story behind it.

 

Mine is my copy of Detective 94 in a CGC 2.5. No big story here unfortunately, but I always wanted a "double-digit" 'Tec comic, so I jumped at the chance to buy this one a couple of years ago at a price that fit my budget. It's my only graded Golden Age book:

A . 5 Avengers #1 - complete

And a .5 Captain America Comics #74- missing CF. I had known the CA had the missing CF when I subbed it, I just wanted the blue label for my CGC registry

Picked this up in a collection several years ago. I think it has the perfect "patina!" You can almost see it as a 1950's movie poster.

I don't really track that carp, but it is probably a 4.0 or a 4.5.

That's a comic with character! It really does look like a poster, like it was designed to look worn. Love it!

Batman 25, 10-11, 1944. CGC grade 7.5, white pages. A very nice looking 7.5 that, unfortunately, I can't find the scans for which mean that, more unfortunately, I will have to scan again at some point. Which I don't have to do.

Okay, not my lowest graded but I love the cover of this comic book and it goes well with Batman 25.

As Someone said Avengers #1, although it is "COMPLETE", which a LOT of 0.5 graded copies I've seen of this particular issue are not.

I traded this for it....

X-Men 266 cgc ss 8.0 Claremont newsie, New mutants 98 cgc 7.0 direct, Batman adventures 12 direct cgc 8.5, Secret wars 8 direct cgc 8.5. I threw in X-Men #134 in blue cgc 7.5, and a certain 9.2 Batman Harley Quinn 1999 #nn, this and ASM 344 direct cgc 9.8! I only had $1,216 into those books

The 2nd lowest I own is a 1.5 Star Wars #4 35 cent variant (in spoiler) that I found in the dollar bin  but it and the 0.5 Avengers are the "lowest" I own in slab form, although from there on out I DO have several 1.8's and on up

from one of my better (in hindsight) childhood quarter bin days my 4 lowest graded books - I believe all were from same original collection.  In the throes of nostalgia in late 2021 I submitted them.
