Grading shenanigans at CGC?

 I just watched the video. Very interesting. I have some questions:

How is it that there was a mix of Silver (pre-1975) and Bronze/Copper Age books (post 1975) in the same submission?

Are the two Secret Wars #8 9.9s coded as 9.8s on the census really 9.9s or were they always supposed to be 9.8s?

If these grades are all legit, is 9.9 the new 9.8?

It would have to have been a High Value or Unlimited sub.

These are very, very good questions. I also can't imagine CGC is pleased with how people are reverse engineering their cert numbering system to get the level of transparency we have here with questionable customer orders.

You mean that you don't believe that someone unearthed decades worth of hundreds of gem mint books in the past year?

That is insanely suspect. I have subbed a few hundred books (probably close to 800-1,000) and received 1 9.9 and that was a Batman prestige edition..
