Not often that the Boards are treated to a Gerber 10!! (worship)

I'm just thrilled with the book, thnx!

I'm astounded that this issue contains a 12 page story, something I wasn't aware of for an early 1937 comic book (image off the net, not from my copy):

This book has the honor of being the first comic I ever purchased at my first SDCC (1981).

The seller had it at top of Guide ($110), I managed to snag it for an even $100...

Love it...

I was 0.5 years old when you bought that.

Nice books Ameri. And since folks are posting the earliest issues in the series, here's another one:

That's an amazingly gorgeous 4.5 (spine splits?).

Not sure, but I think the only spine spit is the one you can see at the bottom. I'll have to check the next time I look at it.

Yes indeed, that's an absolutely gorgeous copy of a book from way back in 1936!!! :cloud9:

Is there something wrong with the interior pages or the back cover to bring this book all the way down to a 4.5 grade? ???

Looks like you drive a real tough negotiator there. (thumbs u

I've always love this cover the most out of all of the Sandman Adventure covers. :takeit:

The Sandman covers are among my favorite of all GA books.

They are indeed terrific.

Other than the grossly overvalued ADV 48, the one book that continues to elude me is ADV 46. I have a buddy who has a nicely restored copy, but he ain't parting with it. :pullhair:
