I never owned a copy of 159 but always wanted to get one! I must have bought all the concurrent issues at one time or another as I kept seeing the ad for that cover and always wanted one!

 

Another favorite ad from this era is the cigar chomping newsman saying, "No more DC comics!"

Flash over in Norway is translated as LYNET for "Lightning" as there is no direct translation...

Usually I don't go for crow pages from 1960/61 on, but I purchased 2 books with crow pages at this years SDCC. The first one is the following issue of Flash. The thing is that I always try to buy at least one nice copy of Flash at every US convention that I attend, because I'd really like to complete my Infantino run one day. I had trouble finding the right issue at this years SDCC, I either found only issues I already owned or issues that were overpriced in the grades that I like.

Then I stumbled upon this copy of Flash 156 and after some reflection I went for it because of the black cover and the pedigree (Big Apple). I will probably regret this choice in the future, but I needed to get my dose of Infantino Flash.....

If Warner Bros wants to make a S-H-I-T-L-O-A-D at Boxoffice add a ironman/thor style "whos got the bigger d@ck" race/fight between superman and Flash beating him before they re-adjust their attitudes to be friends.....

 

But Flash HAS to be faster, if not its a let down.......
