sacentaur
This thread never ceases to amaze me! I picked this up over the weekend from a boardie (and many thanks to RyanH for the tip) - I just love the pulp/comic blend, and it's the Larson copy to boot. adamstrange
I know there must be other man eating plant covers, but the Baffling Mysteries and the Amazing are the only two I've actually been able to identify (via Google). Can anyone think of others? Adventures into the Unknown 32 http://www.comics.org/issue/9674/cover/4/ Adventures into the Unknown 48 http://www.comics.org/issue/10802/cover/4/ I suspect there are a couple more among pre-code horror books. I've always like this humanoid plant cover.

excelsior1986
Anyone know anything of a magazine called revealing detective cases? I picked up a copy over the weekend at a local thrift shop for a buck. It's vol.2 #14 from 1944( I believe). I will post a pick of it tomorrow. Theagenes
"Red Shadows" BZ, this takes my breath away! The fun thing about this issue is that in addition to having the cool cover art and the first appearance of Solomon Kane, it also has the first published work of a sixteen year-old Tennessee Williams. The story is fairly risque too, with orgies and whatnot.

Earlier this year there was a month-long exhibition of rare Tennessee Williams books, scripts, and memorabilia in honor of the playwright’s 100th birthday. Among the items on display was a copy of that Weird Tales. Tennessee Williams Centennial Exhibit of Rare Books and Memorabilia

There was also a Revealing Confessions and a Revealing Love Stories magazine published in the 1940's. Is there anything of note in the magazine?
