Last night after reading Hugh Rankin's biography, I recalled seeing several of his cartoons in Cartoons Magazine many years ago.

 

I looked through a bunch of magazines this afternoon and found these three examples in the May and June 1917 issues.

I'm amazed you had these (and were able to locate them!)

 

I've got about 100 issues.

 

It was actually lots of fun looking through the magazines.

Yes, I have hundreds of them.

 

Maybe thousands. I've lost count.

 

Given all we've seen in this thread, I assumed as much. :cloud9:lol

 

Out of historical interest: Beadles American Novel #45? (1st printing of Steam Man of the Prairies)
