Do We Need Cheesecake Photos in Signatures?

* Whenever someone even raises the question of good taste and/or moderating behavior in **any** way, someone will pull the "censorship" card.

 

 

Your view on good taste may be different from others. You're playing the "I know what's best for others" card.

 

I think he's playing the "I was naive in thinking that anyone around here would be polite enough to self censor their sigs in order to make the board more work and family safe" card.

 

But, like the guys that think porn should be integrated into comic book conventions, there are people here that will play the "I like cheesecake photos so I'm going to post them in my sig regardless of how it may make this forum look" card.

 

Maybe I'll post pictures of the wounded/dead from the shooting yesterday in my sig because I'm in favor of liberal gun laws. That makes just as much sense and has just as much place on this board as cheesecake photos.

I am not a fan of them either. I can usually scroll past them quickly, but earlier today a user posted twice in a row, so I just had to skip their posts and continue on. I can't have that on my screen at work.

 

And actually, I don't even like photos in signatures. Some users have pictures that are half of a page themselves. You know who are you.

I turned off sigs a couple months ago and this board is about 10 times easier to read without them. I do not miss all the *spoon*.

I just adblock every banner, picture and registry set link in every sig. That way I get to see peoples want lists without having to see their half naked mothers and sisters.
