35,000 seems a little ridiculous for that book on Bob's website.

He can ask what he wants and can always come down in price if he wants to.

JLA #1 is a pretty popular book.

Whenever I have one it gets a lot of interest.

would a 9.2 even bring 25,000 in auction? I guess I didn't realize how much of a key it really is.

The last one sold for $27,000.

It's an extremely tough book in grade. This is the third to be graded 9.2 (unrestored).

Three 9.4s (blue label). One 9.6.

I'd say it's a pretty tough book.

Ahhhhh, '04 says alot about the price. DC's middle keys (not super keys) such as JLA 1 have gone down in value, it's not in damand as Marvel keys are, people are investing money (that kind of money) in marvels.

I'd strongly disagree with that. I'm not even remotely concerned about the start price.

Also, where are you getting your data from on the BB 28? The only book that I see in GPA (which HA reports to) that sold lower is the 9.0 that sold for $20k, $10k less than the last 9.0.

And everyone who follows the book knows that the reason that one sold so low is that it was a very ugly 9.0 that was pressed from an 8.0 everyone saw.

Every other copy has sold for more. The 7.5 is way up over 2004 prices, the 8.0 is way up.
