Chances are...
So I have been doing some reading on the web about how bad the covers have turned out on The Amazing Spider-Man #1 with its 50 cover variants. As far as I have read that there has been no response from Marvel. I have also heard about people going to multiple stores and looking through thousands of books to not find one 9.8 candidate. I'm just wondering how this will affect prices for the books that do grade a 9.8. I am disappointed to say the least. Thoughts??

Scanner problems I am having.
Hi collectors,
I have a Mac Book Pro that I upgraded the software to Mavericks. I have a HP Scanjet 8300. Now, this morning I wanted to scan a few books to add to my collection and found that I was getting an error message. Something about a read only file. Then the file saved was a black picture with white bars in it. So I contacted HP and they say there has been reports of problems with Mavericks and the Scanjet. Having a "Prime" day!
Just got these "Marvel The Transformers" back from CGC. Now claiming the top spot in the set. Also adding to the Marvel Complete Set with these Generation 2 books. Very happy to get these back. I hope my other submissions will go as well as this one did. I will still have to keep trying for a #59 to get it up to a 9.8. It has been a great ride so far!

I have just spent the last hour opening roughly 30 envelopes and boxes of raw books and raw book sets. And I have to say did I ever get many, many books in promised condition! You know, you have to go on trust and faith that the seller is selling you what they advertise in their adds. It's not like I can jet down to California, New York or Florida to look at these raw books in person. All but one of these packages were packaged great to excellent. Get frustrated much?
Yea, so I get my books back that I have submitted in the spring of 2012 to find a 9.9! I was so happy!!! I even let out a yell! So, I entered it in to my set. The next day I went to remove the 9.8 from my box of books when I noticed the covers didn't match... So this isn't the first time I have had to send books back for re-labeling because of this, or a wrong title or no variant title... At forty or fifty bucks to get it to CGC and back to my hands (the cost of shipping)
Maybe someone knows??
I have noticed that there are more 9.9's and 10.0's in the registry then there are 9.8's. But I have never seen any on eBay or anywhere else. Hardly ever. So where are they and who has them? Anybody know...

My Comics
Hi. I started collecting comic books when I was young in the mid 80's to early 90's. Then the prices doubled and tripled and I couldn't afford it any more. Now that I'm older, I can. I started collecting again in September 2010 and love it. It has changed a lot since I bought the book in the grocery store.
