  1. Hello @KWest Comics & Games LLC, Thank you for contacting us. CGC Cards grades virtually all trading card games (TCGs), sports cards, and non-sports cards. Currently, We currently accept cards sized 2-5/8” x 3-3/4” (6.6cm x 9.5cm) or smaller. Cards may be up to 7.25mm thick. As long as these cards are standard size, we can grade them! You can also find additional information on specific card types we do not grade HERE. If you have any other questions, please let us know.  Thank you!
  2. Hello @Poké-Oh! TCG, when you go to make a submission, the price does not factor in the credit you've received. We do not charge you until your submission gets to us in-house, where we will apply your credit and charge you for the remaining difference. There's nothing you need to do on your side, the credit will be automatically applied to the order once we go to take the payment. If you feel that we have charged you without applying your credit, feel free to send us an email directly and we can take a look at it for you! Please let us know if you need help with anything else. Thank you!
  3. Hello, CGC Cards does not currently share this information. Sports cards may vary in thickness, but most cards are around 35 pts. Any cards thicker would need to be reviewed by our grading/encapsulation team to see if they can fit in a standard holder or if a thick holder would better suit the card. Please let us know if you need help with anything else. Thank you!
  4. Hello @adamjb4, thank you for contacting us. While CGC Cards has merged both our trading cards and sports card grading companies, they do currently have their own respective software and accounting systems. What this means is that if you choose "trading cards" for your "collectible interest" for example, the credit will be applied to our CGC Cards trading cards accounting system (and visa versa with sports cards). When your brother goes to sign up, just be sure to select the collectible interest that best suits what he plans to send in (if he chooses to sign up at the Premium or Elite membership tiers). Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  5. Hello @Russell Herman, thank you for contacting us. If your cards were signed after they were manufactured/produced, unfortunately, CGC Cards would not be able to grade the cards since we have no way of currently authenticating signatures. We are only able to grade cards with signatures that are "pack-pulled", or the card was manufactured with the signature on it at the time of production. If you have cards that you'd like to submit that do have pack-pulled signatures, feel free to submit them at any time! You can find more information on how to start submitting cards online at:  How To Submit. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  6. Hello @RoLaren, I checked your invoice now, and all cards except for line 3 are in the census. You have to go to the actual census page to see them listed though. I will see if my team can get line 3 into the census for you. Hello @Fiacs0.o, we do not take photos or list grades on reholder orders since the certificate numbers remain the same. All details about the cards can be found on their original certificate numbers. Please let us know if you need help with anything else. Thank you!
  7. Hello @RoLaren, the census is updated every Wednesday, but it may vary depend on when your order was shipped. Feel free to reach out to us via email if you don't see your card in the census after this coming Wednesday. Please let us know if you need help with anything else. Thank you!
  8. Hello @BorderLanes, thank you for contacting us. If you send your card(s) to be reholdered with us, they will retain their current certificate number. They will not be given a new certificate after being reholdered, so they can still be referenced by the TCG Verification tool. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  9. Hello, here was our grading team's reply - "There are no defined years for the conversion reprints. We use the year that the design was produced and include "Conversion Reprint" to show that it was put into reproduction at a later date." We hope this helps! Please let us know if you need help with anything else.
  10. Hello @alphajames, thank you for contacting us. We should be able to grade these cards with no issues. As long as the embossing does not cause the card to be thicker than 7.25mm, feel free to send these on it! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  11. Hello @northkorea, thank you for that image. I am checking with my team now about your inquiry. I will post back here once I have a reply. Thank you!
  12. Hello @Cameron Toussaint, I have sent my team a message to see if they have an estimate of when this portion of the pop report will be available again. We might not have an exact timeframe, but I will check on this for you and write back when I have a reply. Thank you!
  13. Hello @Munkii, yes, you may include a note on your submission form of the error you believe your card to have. This will be reviewed when grading your card. However, unfortunately, we would not be able to confirm with certainty that a card with a print error would be able to achieve a Gem Mint 10 grade since by definition, it is a "manufacturing defect".We hope this makes sense. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  14. Hello @northkorea, thank you for contacting us. I will be happy to check on this for you. Do you have any examples that I can present to my team to confirm why this is done?
  15. Hello @malopr. thank you for contacting us. It is possible you may be seeing this error due to the maintenance we've been doing recently for our CGC Cards merge. Usually, the error resolves itself after a day or two of waiting, so please kindly try submitting again. If it still is not working, please send me a private message and I can try to submit the order on your behalf. Thank you in advance!
  16. Hello @JFSeah, thank you for contacting us. If your card is already a Pristine 10, then it will be given the new Gold Pristine 10 label if you choose to send it in for reholder. Feel free to submit any time before September 30th to take advantage of the reholder special at $5.00! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  17. Hello @Craigski002, thank you for contacting us. When you go to make a submission, the price does not factor in the credit you've received. We do not charge you until your submission gets to us in-house, where we will apply your credit and charge you for the remaining difference. So there's nothing you need to do on your side, the credit will be automatically applied to the order once we go to take the payment. I did confirm that I see the credits available on your account now, so you should be good to submit! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  18. Hello @William Weitz, our research team will add the cards to the database as we receive them, so we don't have an exact roadmap. With the assistance of AI, we will be able to add most cards into our system fairly quickly, and our team will add them to our database from there. Please let us know if you need help with anything else. Thank you!
  19. Hello @Phil Boyd, thank you for your reply. CSG did not previously have subgrades as an additional service, so I think you may be referring to trading cards? Do you mind sending me where you are seeing the new scale mentioning print spots specifically and we can check with our grading team on this? Thank you!
  20. Hello @PokeEPete93, thank you for contacting us. We are sorry that there has been a delay in replying to your email and chat board inquiry. I have sent you a private message. Please kindly check your DMs. Thank you!
  21. Hello @content808, thank you for contacting us. Yes, mainly any licensed standard-sized trading card will not be eligible for grading. If you have any questions about specific TCGs when you go to submit, feel free to message us via email and we can verify for you! Also, for autographed cards, we will grade those that are manufactured with the signature printed on them. Any cards that are signed after they have been "pack pulled" will receive a green qualified label. You can read more about this qualified label HERE. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  22. Hello @Bluhming, thank you for contacting us. After the system maintenance today, you only need to be logged into a free member account in order to submit. You should be able to create an order once the maintenance is finished. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  23. Hello @Huaqiu, thank you for contacting us. I have sent you a private message. Please kindly check your DMs.
  24. Hello @HoardingHolos, thank you for contacting us. Yes, this is all true! Card orders created before 07/10/23 that are sent for the reholder service will be given the new label if it was specified on the submission form. Additionally, any 9.5 TCG cards that you are sending in will be updated to the new Gem Mint 10 grade as well. If you have any issues with your order once it is received back in hand, please let us know and we will do our best to assist! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  25. Hi @Cameron Toussaint, thank you for contacting us. Currently, only the Scarlet and Violet Promo cards are available to view HERE. We do not have the Scarlet and Violet set listed on our TCG Population quite yet, but I have been told our team is working on this now to build out the population report on this set. It may take a little time for our web team to build this set in our population report, so we thank you for your patience while this is being worked on. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
