  1. Hi @Cameron Toussaint, thank you for contacting us. Currently, only the Scarlet and Violet Promo cards are available to view HERE. We do not have the Scarlet and Violet set listed on our TCG Population quite yet, but I have been told our team is working on this now to build out the population report on this set. It may take a little time for our web team to build this set in our population report, so we thank you for your patience while this is being worked on. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  2. Hello @leithal55, CGC Cards will have the same "rule" about card autographs as CSG currently does. We will still grade cards with manufactured "pack pulled" autographs on them, but we will not be able to grade any cards with unwitnessed signatures on them. We are working to build out our Signature Series division for in-person autograph authentication though! More news will be posted on this in the future. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  3. Hello @northkorea, thank you for contacting us. The pop report is based on the card data/label description and the grade it receives. Data in the pop report should be the same when the cards are reholdered, and only the label changes, so there would be no reason to remove them. The certificate number also remains the same. Please kindly let me know if I am misunderstanding your inquiry. Thank you!
  4. Hello @PAB1969, thank you for contacting us. I have sent you a private message, please kindly check your DMs. Thank you!
  5. Hello @MatthewFowl, thank you for contacting us. Packing slips created on or before July 10 will be eligible for the current blue labels as long as the package is received by Friday, July 21. Any orders created on or after July 11th and received after July 21st will receive the new black label. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!

  7. Hello @delarozay, thank you for contacting us. Packing slips created on or before July 10 will be eligible for the current blue labels as long as the package is received by Friday, July 21. Any orders created on or after July 11th and received after July 21st will receive the new black label. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  8. Hello @northkorea, our graders do not wipe down cards as policy, only as a courtesy. If they see an obvious fingerprint, for example, they may wipe the card in an attempt for the card to present better (and possibly help the grade). Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  9. Hello @Adamries1, thank you for contacting us. Currently, we do grade sports cards through our sister company CSG. However, we are merging CGC Trading Cards and CSG Sports Cards to be a single company on July 11th. From that point, we will be CGC Cards, and you will be able to submit both trading and sports cards to us under one name. You may read more about this merge HERE. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  10. Hello @Guitar Hero, I have sent you a private message. Please kindly check your DMs. Thank you!
  11. Hello @RLL and @northkorea, the last day we are accepting submissions for subgrades is July 10th. Any orders received into the system after July 11th will be given the new label. Subgrades will be discontinued from that point on. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  12. Hello @Jasanity, thank you for contacting us. We are very sorry to hear that you are disappointed in the removal of subgrades. Sub-grades weren’t used that often. In recent months, less than 5% of submissions requested subgrades on their cards. I am happy to share your thoughts with our management team for review, however. The new labels and changes will launch in mid-July. Feel free to check out our full article CGC Trading Cards and CSG Will Combine to Become the World’s Second-largest Card Grading Service. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  13. Hello @KB!, thank you for contacting us. CGC Cards is designing a new CGC Cards Signature Series label that will combine the iconic yellow color of the CGC Signature Series brand with the sleek, modern aesthetics of the new CGC Cards label. We expect to have more information by the end of July, so I would recommend checking back or signing up for our newsletter to see more updates about this new label in the near future! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  14. Hello @HomeGrownPoke1, thank you for contacting us. Currently, our cheapest option for shipping back 1-5 cards is through our FedEx account, which would be $20.00. You may kindly find all of our shipping fees for cards HERE. As an alternative, if you do have a shipping account through one of the shipping carriers you'd like us to ship on that may be a cheaper option, you may place that on file and we would be happy to ship via your account instead. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
  15. Hello @Pokemon Mattster, thank you for contacting us. Yes, .5 grade increments will still be used, so 9.5s will still continue to be given as Mint Plus. Any current Gem Mint 9.5s will be listed as 10s in our population report, but 9.5 Mint Plus cards will be given stll after the merger date takes place. A 9 grade will likely remain a 9, however, there is a possibility that a strong 9 may change to a 9.5. With that said, you would kindly need to send the card in once again in order to have it regraded to confirm this. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  16. Hello @cyclonus11, thank you for contacting us. Yes, signature series will continue to exist for trading cards when applicable signings occur. Signature Series is a service that we are working on and hope to continue to build upon soon! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  17. Hello @TrueDisplay87, thank you for contacting us. Firstly, we would like to apologize that you feel that your games are not being graded fairly. Although we cannot comment on why your games received the grade that it did, we can assure you that all collectibles are reviewed by multiple professionals to ensure the most accurate grade is given. With this said, 10s and 9.9s are absolutely possible to receive, however, the game must be virtually "perfect" in order to receive these grades. A 9.8 is described as "A CGC 9.8 is a nearly perfect game with negligible handling or manufacturing defects. For a games grade with a 10, we describe this as "the highest grade assigned. The game must have no evidence of any manufacturing or handling defects." While this may be hard to obtain, we assure you it is certainly possible! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!

  21. Hello @WhizofOdds, thank you for contacting us. To confirm with our grading team, do you mind kindly posting photos of the card, along with its dimensions, so we can check on this for you? Thank you in advance!
  22. Hello @Warner85, Mechanical Errors go through a different processing system when they are sent back to us. We recently acquired new software, so it is possible that seeing the cards listed on Mechanical Errors is still being worked on. I see that your order is being delivered shortly, so if you have any issues once you have your cards back in hand, please kindly let us know via direct email. Thank you!
  23. Hello @Warner85, thank you for contacting us. You may check the original order these cards were submitted under to find if the description has been updated. Please kindly feel free to email our team if you find that they are still correct once they are received (it appears that have already been shipped back to you). Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
  24. Hello @Nelsond0312, thank you for contacting us.CSG grades “thick” sports cards, up to 7.25 mm thick, which are encapsulated in the 3.5 mm, 5.5 mm or 7.25 mm CSG Thick Holder. 25. Hello @Mfreeman77, thank you for contacting us. We do not have any news quite yet on if we will ever be able to grade/encapsulate Tall Boy cards. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We kindly encourage you to sign up for our TCG Newsletter or follow us at @CSGcards to receive the latest updates on when we may grade these types of cards. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
