I'd like to 3D print and paint a 1/4 scale Mouser or two to display with my 1990 Turtles in the display case. Just a fun side project to work on.
After seeing your room focused on TMNT (which looks great) and how you want to make a 1/4 scale Mouser......I thought I'd give you a heads up.
A company called Numskull produces Quarter Arcades......which are 1/4 scale, high quality working replicas of arcade cabinets (panels are wood, not plastic). (Link to their website)
They've secured the licensing, and will be producing two 1/4 scale working TMNT arcade cabinets (TMNT and TMNT Turtles in Time). They haven't started taking pre-orders for them yet, but should soon.
Here are a few pictures of them they've released:

Anybody that doesn't pay for auction wins already gets blocked.
What about when a person makes an offer that is accepted by the seller....but doesn't pay after the 4 day time limit?
Does the person that made the offer get blocked as well?
Or, is there at least a limit on the number of accepted offers they can flake on before they do get blocked?

For anyone who cares to check and report back, it is 2:24 AM (eastern) as I post this, and it will be my last use of the forum tonight, likely until midafternoon. But I will still have tabs open here, and I will make this thread my first "visit" when I return. So if anyone cares to see if I am showing up as online (or visited) in the meantime, please post as a data point.
It's 3:42 AM (eastern) and I just checked your profile.
It currently says "Last Visited 1 hour ago".

The 30 day time limit is strictly for being able to nominate someone to the Probation List.
It has nothing to do with being able to raise concerns or warning others of potential problems as they're occuring. Not being able to do that would be beyond ridiculous, and would just be an open invitation for scammers to come in here for a 30 day smorgasbord.

I think we need a poll
Agreed. The creators of this software added that feature specifically so the results could be tallied and then subsequently ignored. It's what makes them so incredibly helpful.
However, I'm short on time.....so, once again.....I'll appoint you as my proxy poll maker.

Debris is covered. Would be ridiculous to deny an ME for debris in the holder. CGC is definitely trying to pull back what they’ll cover though. That CGC won’t stand behind their product 100% is just sad.
You have to agree that it makes sense, though.
Instead of putting in the effort to actually cut back on all of the mistakes being made......it makes better financial sense for them to simply stop covering half of the mistakes they do make.

I was supposed to receive an order from CGC with an insured Value of $800.
The box was found open , outside my building without the contents inside . (Graded comic books from CGC )
When I go to the Fedex website it says I signed for the package which I definitely did not .
"This is from customer service:
We ship their order to the return address they list on their form. Everything is shipped signature required. If the customer is not home to sign for it FedEx will attempt delivery 3 times. After 3 times, it comes back to us. We will reach out to the customer once it is received back in the office to verify the address and arrange another shipment. They can provide an alternate address at that time, or they can provide the address of a FE pick up location.
We do not allow any changes to shipping once the order has left the office. Packages cannot be re-routed or adjusted at that point. It is for the security of their items."
Rest easy......this is all done for the security of your items.

Also, about 100 pages back when Mike said they were making changes it seemed like a win. Yet now I See we still have upside down, mislabeled books. This s#its easy for anyone with eyes and a brain.
I see eveidence of CGC taking steps to correct mistakes after they've made them.....which still costs their customers additional time, hassles, and headaches.
I've seen no evidence that they've made any progress in preventing the mistakes from happening in the first place.
If anything.......it only seems to be getting worse.

I don’t think they dumped half of their inventory but a game that simply sucked.
At least that is what I remember.
E.T. is the one most often mentioned......but they dumped others as well.during the 1983 video game crash.(12 truckloads of leftover inventory).
It appears the smart thing to do, is dump these Funko Pops into a landfill.....let them ferment for a few decades......and then sell them.

This guy fails most of the time. So I do enjoy his channel.
Sadly, that video speaks more to CGC's f**k ups and fails than it does for the host of the channel.
He literally starts off by showing three books he previously had to send back to CGC for "mechanical errors".
Then, he details how CGC was supposed to add custom notes to the labels on his books, and CGC didn't do it on any of them..
And finally.....he sent in 25 new comics for pre-screen......CGC only passed and graded 13 of them......and they still charged him over $500 for the submission.
And, to top it all off, he points out that several have horrible scuffing on them, and will probably have to send at least 3 out of those 13 back to CGC.
Good grief.

If they would just open up the 'pay for grades' option to everyone, they would make a boatload of money. They've already shown that they have no problem with doing this ('acetategate', this Superman thing, etc), why not give everyone the same opportunity?
Unfortunately, none of this behavior is new.....and CGC hasn't been interested in creating a level playing field for collectors in a long time.
Years ago.....before it became a commonly known procedure.....how long did CGC offer it's secret crack/press service to friends/insiders?
How many tens (hundreds?) of thousands of dollars were these "special guests" able to make off of unsuspecting regular submitters before they were outed for doing this by a forum member (can't remember who first discovered this was going on.....was it Hammer)?

Amazon has a decent selection at a reasonable price. Just make sure to get a dual motor. I may have to use fixed legs because my top is about 300lbs.
Check out Blacktail Studio on YouTube. He's a table/furniture maker that does incredible work, and recently made a sit/stand desk similar to what you're looking to do. When he demonstrates the lift mechanism towards the end of the video (at around the 23:20 mark) he mentions that the Flexispot base he used is rated for up to 355 lbs. Looks like he used their E7 T-Frame here, which is good for desks from 47.2" to 80" in width ......but, unfortunately, it's pretty pricey.
I couldn't afford his stuff, but his videos are still interesting to watch. Here's his video on making the lift desk. I've queued it up to where he starts talking about and installing the lift base on the desk.

I feel terrible for him and he seems like a really nice guy. I hope he gets the book back quickly.
However......I'm at a loss for how he had it on display. He talks about how he had it on his open rack and positioned near the edge of his booth......where someone could easily reach over and grab it while he was distracted.
